A DELEGATION FROM E& EMIRATES VISITS SCHS BUILDINGS IN AL BARASHI
On Monday, September 9, 2024, in its buildings in the Al Badie suburb (Al Barashi area), Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) hosted a delegation from E& Emirates led by Mohammed Al Amimi, Acting Director General - Northern Emirates Region. Director of Public Relations Abdul Latif Al Hammadi and Executive Director of Government Relations and VIPs Hassan Al Owais were among the delegation members. The delegation was welcomed by Her Excellency, the Director General of SCHS, Mr. Saeed Butti Hadid, Public Relations Officer, and Ms. Mona Abdul Karim Al Yafei, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs.
The visit, which included the “Administration Building, Al Wafa School for Capacity Development, and Sharjah Autism Center,” aimed to review the services, programs, and activities provided by SCHS to its students in accordance with the best international practices, and to discuss enhancing ongoing cooperation to serve people with disabilities and society in general.
Mohammed Al-Amimi commended SCHS for the significant improvement that was evident with the start of the new school year and the relocation to its new facilities in the Al-Barashi neighborhood. He also complimented the school for its exceptional work and the services it offers to parents and students. He was ecstatic to observe disabled pupils receiving instruction and training from a team of highly qualified professionals and staff inside their classrooms.
Al-Amimi also praised SCHS for its leadership and commitment to empowering, including, and advocating for individuals with disabilities through the high caliber of instruction and training it offers in a setting that is a model for education, with the goal of advancing students' abilities across the board.
He emphasized that continued collaboration with SCHS is necessary to attain the greatest outcomes and spread knowledge of the benefits of social responsibility, community service, and its guiding principles.
Her Excellency Ms. Mona Abdel Karim, on her part, greeted the E& Emirates delegation with great pleasure and emphasized that SCHS places a high value on establishing productive cooperative relationships with a variety of regional, Arab, and global organizations.
She said, “We were pleased with the visit, during which the delegation learned about the best practices that SCHS adheres to in dealing with people with disabilities and raising community awareness about them, hoping for more coordination and cooperation in the future to serve students with disabilities, their families, and the community in general”.
