SCHS RELEASES THE 358 ISSUE OF AL MANAL E-MAGAZINE

The 358 issue of Al Manal E-Magazine for April 2021, which is part of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) publications, released.  The publication aims at educating the Arab family, providing it with information, theoretical, and applied knowledge as well as training programs and raising their health awareness.  Her Highness Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of SCHS, is the Editor-in-Chief of Al Manal Magazine.

In “Research and Studies” section, we read about the responsibilities and roles of an early intervention specialist in the remote intervention phase, written by Dr. Rawhi Abdat. Dr. Rania Ahmed Rashid Shaheen prepared a research summary on the pedagogy of flipped learning and teaching Arabic that considered (Al-Amal School and Kindergarten for the Deaf of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services as a model). Sanaa Mahmoud Abadi translated an article on pre-writing skills, and we would learn about a new vision in audiovisual therapy prepared by Elias Tabba. Prepared by Muhammad Fawzi, we read about the Seven Keys in Early Intervention.

In “Opinion” section, we read by Dr. Rawhi Abdat about the mother who is a teacher at home (transforming mothers into trainers for their children in early childhood). Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qaryouti writes about aggression ... its causes, types, and suggestions to overcome it.

Dr. Zaid bin Muhammad al-Ramani wrote about happiness as a mysterious thing that has many faces! Hashem Kataa translated an article entitled (Developing Critical Thinking Skills). The City Council of Social Workers prepared a material on social media networks and their role in developing social skills.

In "from life" section, Abdullah Al-Ghamdi has written about one question that transformed Kaufman's life from a child with learning difficulties to one among (50) scientists who change the way we see the world.

In "Social Issues” section, we review a report prepared by the Media Center for Persons with Disabilities (MCPD) on marriage for persons with disabilities.  Regarding listening in meetings with parents, we read an article translated by Wael Ahmed Allam. Mai Al-Raisi wrote on family bonding, which is the (Safe Community Path). Ms. Khadija Ahmed Bamakhramah prepared an article on the concept of sustainability and sustainable development.

Al Manal Activities and Events are full as usual. Jameela bint Mohammad Al Qasimi confirms that (the history of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services is the history of special education in the United Arab Emirates) during a virtual lecture organized in cooperation with the American University in the Emirates. Mona Abdul Karim Al-Yafei says, “The statistics in the city talk about its services that keep pace with the best international practices”, within the symposium on the education of children with disabilities during the Corona pandemic at Sultan Qaboos University.

Emirati artist Matar bin Lahej visited the Art for All Center (Falaj) and had a dialogue session with its members. Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services launches its annual Zakat campaign (Your Zakat to Support our education). The city organizes the second self-advocacy camp ... (firm steps to success). The city organizes International Music Therapy Forum ... (a step in the way of a thousand inspiring steps). Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services cooperates with the Sharjah Sports Council and Sharjah Police towards more success and development.

Memorandum of Understanding and sponsorship signed between the City and Charitable Trust. (Early Prevention) is a new initiative from the Early Intervention Center on World Autism Day. The Inclusive Education Month includes an art gallery for students' creativity and informative activities. Figures and statistics, as part of the activities of the media campaign to raise awareness of mental disability, which Al-Wafa School for Capacity Development organizes annually. A virtual seminar to raise awareness of intellectual disability entitled (not all disabilities are apparent).

In “Culture and Literature” section, we read about reforming the heart, the first Islamic duty, written by Rabeh Zarwati.  Hashem Kataa translated an article on the nature of modern poetry.  The editorial board of Al Manal wrote about Corporate Communication, "the concept, elements, goals, and obstacles." Hisham Muhammad Ketami wrote about the wisdom of the Toltec civilization "A practical guide to personal freedom". Muhammad Nabulsi wrote about children's books as an awareness tool about learning difficulties.

In "Assistive Technologies", we read about the interaction of deaf and hard of hearing people with Alexa, the intelligent personal assistant device.  The researcher Nada Shaheen and Professor Muhammad Watfa prepared this material.
