Donations and zakat policy

This policy explains the general responsibilities in collecting donations and zakat and the specific responsibilities of collectors and donors, and with regard to the use and responsibility of funds. The efficiency of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services depends on securing sufficient resources for it, whether by collecting donations and zakat from donors, provided that the highest standards are followed in the process of collecting donations and zakat and a system is put in place to protect them, without prejudice to what was stated in the legislation, laws and regulations in force in the state The United Arab Emirates, the system of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services and the city's executive and political regulations. This policy is a complement to it, without replacing it.

  • Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, in its policy, administrative regulations, principles, all practices and all work team, is always committed to a transparent and reliable manner.

Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services seeks to collect donations and zakat of all kinds, in cash, in kind, and services, and to open various income-generating channels and means in order to enable and rehabilitate people with disabilities that the Foundation serves and provide aids that enable them to be independent in managing their life affairs, and to achieve these goals that keep pace with its mission and vision.
