SHARJAH CITY FOR HUMANITARIAN SERVICES CELEBRATES 47 UAE NATIONAL DAY

Nov 29, 2018

Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) congratulated United Arab Emirates leadership and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, the people of Emirates, and its residents on the 47 National Day.  SCHS wished the best to everyone in this giving country.

To mark this occasion, SCHS celebrated United Arab Emirates 47 National Day.  Students with disabilities, their parents, and the workers of SCHS had an outstanding participation in this celebration.  Parents participated in the celebrations of this dear occasion.

Persons with disabilities responded to Masarat Center for Development and Empowerment initiative to draw a picture for the late President of United Arab Emirates H.H Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to rise above the spirit of the union.  SCHS students with disabilities, its workers, and administrators took part in this activity.  In addition, celebrations included a contest for the best act by SCHS schools and centers in which Al Amal School for the Deaf won the first place.

SCHS cares to celebrate this national day every year.  Everyone loves United Arab Emirates including persons with disabilities, who expressed their love in their own way.  They deliver a message full of belonging and love to their country, which has given them so much in every area of life.

Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services has been working hard since four decades to include, advocate, and empower persons with disabilities by offering them the best services according to the best practices worldwide.  Moreover, SCHS had continued efforts to consolidate the relationships of partnership and cooperation with local, regional, and international humanitarian institutions.

According to the latest statistics, the number of persons with disabilities benefiting from SCHS Services has reached 1370 from different nationalities.  SCHS only considers benefiting those persons with disabilities as a main condition for their enjoyment of the services.
