NIKON PRESENTED A WORKSHOP ON THE (FUNDAMENTALS OF PHOTOGRAPHY) FOR SCHS'S
On Monday, February 14, 2022, Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) organized a workshop on (Fundamentals of Photography), in cooperation with Nikon Company. The workshop is for the benefit of the "photographers" of the SCHS's Media Production and Training Center during the International Photography Festival "Xposure" hosted by the Sharjah Expo.
The objective of the workshop held at the Nikon platform was to meet the needs of photographers by learning the basics of photography, understanding its foundations, and knowing its technical and creative tools. In addition to providing participants with different skills in the field of photography.
The workshop also aimed to improve the level of photography for the staff of the Media Production and Training Center. The workshop provided a practical training on the camera. Trainer explained the settings and types of photographic lenses and their uses. The participants also interacted by asking questions that the trainer answered during the workshop.
Personnel with disabilities in the SCHS’s Media Production and Training Center stressed the importance of the workshop. It contributed to developing their own skills in the method of shooting motion pictures, and adjusting the filming settings to suit the place and lighting.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the representative of Nikon Company, Tariq Abdul Rahman, General Manager of Customer Service, said that he is so happy to cooperate with SCHS. The company is looking forward to providing various workshops and training programs for its employees.
It is worth mentioning that the seven-day festival included seminars, workshops and introductory presentations to the most famous photographers. It also provided opportunities to learn new skills, build communication with professional photographers, and try out new photographic equipment.
