SCHS RELEASES THE 363 ISSUE OF AL MANAL E-MAGAZINE

The 363 issue of Al Manal E-Magazine for October 2021, which is part of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS) publications, released. The publication aims at educating the Arab family, providing it with information, theoretical, and applied knowledge as well as training programs and raising their health awareness. Her Highness Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of SCHS, is the Editor-in-Chief of Al Manal Magazine.

In “Research & Studies” section, Fadi Muhammad Al-Dahdouh wrote how the Saudi experiment in scientific research became a role model. Mr. Wael Ahmed Allam prepared a research summary on perceptions of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities about COVID-19 in Spain.

Muhammad Steiti also introduced us to the card (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) in the series (60 seconds), which Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services issued in 2018. The series consists of 20 cards that identify the causes of many motor problems and methods of prevention and treatment. The cards also contain barcodes that lead to online treatment videos.

In “Social Issues” section, Mai Al-Raisi prepared a material on anxiety and fear among children between the ages of 3 and 4 years. Dr. Medhat Muhammad Abu Al-Nasr wrote the first part on the Al-Saeed (Aram) system in social work.

Within the section on “Assistive Technologies”, The Media Center for Persons with Disabilities tell us about the European Space Agency's intention to send the first astronaut from persons with disabilities on a mission that is a brave step and represents a fair opportunity to go into space for all human beings.

In “Opinion” section, Fadi Muhammad Al-Dahdouh prepared a material on the researcher teacher as a central strategy. Iman Hassan prepared the material for the first part of (Time Management), which is an important resource in the lives of individuals and societies. Deborah Kao wrote about the features of legal translation. Mr. Hashem Kateh Lazim translated this article.

In “Culture and Literature” section, Ola Mahmoud Mohamed prepared an article on dysgraphia (its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and appropriate intervention). We also read the card on the benefits of horse riding therapy prepared by Abdullah Al-Hamalawy in the 60th series. We read a translation by Hashem Kateh Lazim, on academic quality and standards adopted in British universities.

In “From Life” section, Nabil Eid wrote about the global movement to support the identity of persons with disabilities, "Billion Strong". Hisham Muhammad Katami prepared an article on the honorable achievements of the UAE champions at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Al-Manal activities are full as usual. Hazem Dahi Shehadeh has written a set of articles on the unique participation of SCHS in the KLARAA Conference 2021 for Easy Read. Her Excellency Sheikha Jamila bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Director General of SCHS, honors high school graduates of Al Amal School for the Deaf. The first person with hearing impairment in the world to receive the title (Expert Educator) from Microsoft. Finally, SCHS celebrates World Physiotherapy Day.
